Unique Events – These events change every month, and will likely only be brought back upon request. Snacks & drinks always provided.
Tuesday, July 1st at 6pm | Hunger Games Trivia Night
Prove your knowledge about the entire Hunger Games series! We’ll have questions for every book, including the newly released novel – Sunrise on the Reaping. Teens can participate alone or with friends.
Tuesday, July 8th at 6pm | Anime/Cosplay Club
We’ll watch anime, eat Japanese snacks, and offer crafting supplies to help you with your cosplay! Refreshments will be provided. No registration needed.
Friday, July 18th at 4pm | Teen Lock-In Night
Join us after hours for lock-in fun!
We’ll have activities going from 4-9pm in the teen room like movies, games, crafts, and ice cream sundaes.
Participants must have their parent or guardian sign a waiver indicating their pick-up person and emergency contact information.
Tuesday, July 22nd at 6pm | Teen Free CraftJoin us in the teen room for crafting hour. We’ll give free access to our crafting cart, as well as have a ready-to-make craft for you to follow along with.

Tuesday, August 5th at 5 & 6pm | Escape Room
Teens will navigate through an escape room filled with obstacles and puzzles.
Your goal is to complete the task within 30-45 minutes. You may work alone or with a team of up to 4 per session.
There will be two sessions; one at 5pm and another at 6pm.

Tuesday, August 5th at 5 & 6pm | Adventures in the Culinary Arts
Come make Dungeons & Dragons themed food with us while learning culinary skills with Brenna Nelson and her mobile teaching kitchen!
This program is for teens ages 13-18 only, with only 10 slots available.
Registration is required, and the participant’s parent or guardian must sign a waiver as they will be handling sharp objects.
The waivers will be located at the YS desk.

Every Month | Teen Book Bags
Teen Book Bags are for teens who want book recommendations – with swag! Teens will have these options to choose from: fidgety, self-care, & surprise me, along with their favorite candy.
You can request a Teen Book Bag once per month, and must have a teen Lithgow Library card to use this service.
